Pre-ballet/Tap – For our more developed little dancers, this class is a combo of basic ballet and tap dancing principles. With half of the class dedicated to ballet positions and steps and the other to simple tap rhythms, dancers gain the foundations they need to progress onto a single-discipline class.
Ballet – A technical form of dance set to classical musical, taught using a specific French vocabulary to denote positions and movements; ballet is the foundation for all styles of dance. It helps to develop good posture, a strong core, and body control. Any serious dancer should always supplement their training with a weekly ballet class.
Tap – Characterized by the tapping sound that tap shoes make, tap is a rhythmic form of dance where dancers use their feet as their music. Tap can be set to music or danced a cappela, and in Rhythm Tap improvisation is often used.

Contemporary has recently become more popular, since being a featured style of dance on the Fox TV show, So You think You Can Dance.
Musical Theater – Based on dancing for the stage, Musical Theater can be seen in many different styles across Broadway. Dance choreography is always set to songs from musicals, and dancers are required to use theatrical skills to ‘act out’ the dance. It’s a really fun class to take as an elective or as a student who is really into musicals and theater, but needs to further develop their dance and movement skills.
Turns/Leaps/Progressions – This class focuses strictly on dance technique. Proper turns, body placement, pointed toes, higher kicks, better leaps, and more flexibility are all core components of this class. This class is the perfect supplement for any ballet, jazz, or contemporary dancer.
